For Miele’s biggest launch in 120 years, they tasked my team with creating a microsite that would set Miele apart from its competitors.

Insight

Anyone who’s experienced Miele knows that there is no other choice. But not everyone has access to a Miele kitchen. How might we bring Miele’s countless innovations and incredible experience to a wider audience?

Idea

A rich, immersive experience that simulates the key features of the Generation 7000 appliances.

Execution

With a team of incredible art directors and motion designers, as well as access to the creative team responsible for the campaign, we created a product showcase that brought visitors into Miele’s carefully crafted world and showcased just how innovative the Generation 7000 series is.

Key features come to life via digital simulations.

Visitors can go inside the world-first Dialog Oven to see how its radio waves cook through ice, creating never-before-possible dishes.

They can check on a roast in the oven with their smart phone, and observe how TasteControl opens the oven right at the end to release heat and steam, an automated version of the age-old chef's trick..

And as a centrepiece, aspiring virtual chefs can move pots and pans in a recreation of the Generation 7000 Induction Hob which allows you to cook anywhere—not just on the elements.
