HEART 17

Human Interest

Heart 17 was given the opportunity to use the UN Building in New York City as a canvas. My team turned it into a bold call to action.

Background

Heart 17 is a Stockholm-based initiative backed by EY and the H&M Foundation to encourage youth action towards achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

It was established because it was seen that the leaders of tomorrow were increasingly feeling hopeless about the future.

In 2022, an opportunity arose for Heart 17 to utilise the UN Building in New York City to send a message of hope.

Idea

The IPCC reports are the pulse-checks of the health of our planet and our civilisation. As they are rooted in science, they can be difficult to understand, let alone derive an emotion from.

Our idea was to interpret the science of the IPCC reports in a way that a would make the viewer feel the impact of it, and be inspired to act.
